Terms and conditions

By taking lessons with a Tony Hart Driving School Instructor you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions.

These conditions are there to protect both you and your instructor. Before you start lessons with us our Terms and Conditions will be sent if requested but will be discussed with you. They are also listed below if you could please take some time to read them.

Lessons

You and your Instructor are both responsible for agreeing to timing, location and duration of your individual lessons. You need to be ready for your lessons at the agreed specified time and location. If you need to wear glasses or contact lenses for driving please bring these with you to each lesson.  You need to be able to read a car number plate from 20 meters which is around 5 car lengths, please check before you book a lesson.

On your first lesson you are required to bring your provisional driving license with you.

Cancellations

Our policy if you need to cancel your upcoming lesson with your instructor is you must notify your instructor direct giving 24 hours notice. Failure to do so will result in your lesson fee being charged at your usual lesson cost. Over 24 hours notice validates your lesson being cancelled and no charge incurred. The same applies to 1.5 and 2 hour lessons. If you book more than 2 lessons in one week, you need to give us 48 hours notice period or you are liable to pay the full cost of that block booking.

Payment of Lessons

Payment can be done on line either pre paid or on the day of your lesson. Payment can be made via your instructors BACS or the correct fee on your lesson. Any pre paid lessons up front must be used within one year of initial payment.

Discounted Lessons

We offer individual lessons or block booking of 10 lessons at a discounted rate. These rates are available on request from our office or with your instructor. Some of our team work Saturdays where lessons at an additional cost. Our driving school is not open Sundays.

Instructors

All Tony Hart Instructors are self employed on a franchise basis. The contract for tuition is between you and your instructor. If you have any concerns about your instructor please take these up with your instructor in the first instance. If you need further assistance please contact Tony Hart direct.
